Today I booked our honeymoon trip to St. Martin!! I can’t wait to go. The resort looks amazing. The only part I am a little uncertain about is that it is right near the airport. Even with this being the case the resort gets rave reviews!
St Martin was one of the ports on our cruise last year so we have had a brief stay on the island. (Actually, if you have ever heard the story of when Jay almost “died” while snorkeling - this is the island where it all took place.) It is a very beautiful island with tons of great beaches (some of the best beaches in the world are on St. Martin) and lots of great snorkeling and water activities. A great thing about St. Martin is that it is close to some of the other Caribbean islands, so we plan to do some island hopping while on our trip.
This was our first timeshare exchange and it was a huge success! It took a little while to learn how the exchanges worked, and to tell you the truth I was a little unsatisfied at first. Now that I got the whole system down I am completely thrilled and can’t wait to plan our next vacation!
bravo on the choice. While i’ve never been to St. Martin.. i’ve seen and heard enough about it to know that it’s amazing and that no doubt you’ll have the time of your lives there. keep jay away from the deep sea diving though..ahahah

My friend’s parents have been to St. Martin on many occasions. I can pass along the info on some stuff to do if you want. That is, if they remember.
I also find it funny that you decided to go on your honeymoon where, essentially, “Jay almost died”. I think it sets an interesting tone for the marriage…

I am sure u dont know this but my family basically went there for 5 years during easter break. I love it there. The beaches are the best around.
