The doctor confirmed my suspicions.  Leanne has her first cold.  He said she seems to be handling it very well.  Her ears look clear, she isn’t wheezing when she breathes.  She just has a hacking cough and runny nose.  She also isn’t eating like she usually does - probably because of her stuffiness.  Other then waking up coughing throughout the night she is sleeping pretty well (knock on wood).  The doctor said the humidifier is probably helping her sleep.

So, he sent us home with some cough medicine (free samples this time) and said to just let her cold work its course.

On the upside miss independent has been quite  cuddly the past few days.
