And then there were six…

teeth that is….

Leanne cut her first two teeth when she was four months old. They were her bottom front two, they came in together and were relatively painless. The third (front top tooth) came in about two weeks ago. I could tell the other front top wasn’t too far behind. It just made it’s debut with the bottom side teeth this weekend. Believe me when I say that cutting three teeth all at once was no walk in the park for any of us.

I knew the other top front tooth was working it’s way down, but I couldn’t figure out why this once tooth was causing such a problem. Poor Leanne. Thursday night and Friday night the poor girl got less then 8 hours of sleep (over the course of the two nights). Friday she was running a fever, her nose was running, she was tired, mommy was tired and daddy was tired. We were all miserable.

This one tooth was hell… or I thought it was just one. Today while we were playing on the floor I caught a glimpse into her mouth and found she had also cut two side teeth on the bottom! I guess that explains a lot!

Poor kid spent half her weekend doped up on Tylenol and Hyland Teething Tablets (which work wonders, thanks for the recommendation Courtney!)

Poor baby! (and mommy and daddy too!) I am glad the Hylands worked for you guys, I am telling you, I would have been locked up in a looney bin if not for them. Another thing that worked well when it was really bad, and they where running a slight fever because of the teething, was to piggy back Tylenol and Motrin. Tylenol and then about 2 hours later the Motrin.

I hope you all get some sleep soon, I know how much it sucks to be sleep deprived.
