I took Leanne today for her one year photos.  I am so happy with how the came out….

Last Thursday was her one year check up at the pediatrician.  She is a little peanut at 19 pounds 8 ounces and 28 and 1/2 inches tall.  We got the go ahead to start whole milk (which we were already doing) and we can now feed her all table foods (except peanuts).  The doctor was quite happy with her speaking abilities - she can say words for baby, Daddy and dog (which really encompases any type of animal).  I am working with her to add Mama to that list, but she just laughs at me when ever I try.  The downside of the appointment is that I have to take her next week for blood work.  Apparently this is something they do for all one year olds to test their iron and lead levels.  Totally not looking forward to that day!
